Congratulations to Hannah Patterson, one of Molokini’s account directors, for successfully completing the Google Prompting Essentials course. The course is designed to equip professionals with core skills in Generative AI prompting and has required several hours of dedicated study and assessments.
As the adoption of AI tools or LLM’s (Large Language Model’s) like Google’s Gemini, OpenAI’s Chat GPT and Microsoft’s Copilot rises, Hannah took it upon herself to make sure we understand how to work with them, not against them, and remain true to our belief as a content marketing agency, that human copywriting is not to be forsaken.
What is the Google Prompting Essentials Certificate?
The Google Prompting Essentials Certificate is part of the Google Career Certificates programme. The course helps candidates learn how to prompt Gen AI tools in the right way, helping users get the most out of them for everyday tasks such as analysing data and summarising information. The course covers the following 4 modules:
- Start writing prompts like a pro
- Design prompts for everyday work tasks
- Speed up data analysis and presentation building
- Use AI as a creative or expert partner
For Hannah, the highlight, or affirmation even, of the course was reinforcement of the fact that AI is not a replacement for skilled human writers: “I left with some great takeaways around the ethics of using these tools and clearer on the reasons why currently Gen AI should not be a direct replacement for human copywriting or design skills.”
