Since launching commercial operations on 10 March, 2024, with its first passenger flight from Liege to Las Palmas and Tenerife, FLY4 has rapidly expanded its footprint, serving 23 countries and carrying over 400,000 passengers with an impressive 93% load factor.

The airline, which specialises in wet and damp leasing solutions, has operated just shy of 2,300 flights during its first year, serving 10 ACMI customers and 19 charter customers. This performance underscores FLY4’s growing presence in the aviation capacity market.

Key milestones include the formal handover of its first aircraft on 19 February, 2024, followed by the issuance of its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Operating License by the Irish Aviation Authority on 5 March, 2024. On 4 May, 2024, the airline achieved another significant milestone by operating its first ever charter flight.

“It is hard to believe that a full year has passed since that very first commercial flight we operated here at FLY4. During these last twelve months, the entire Team of FLY4 people flying our planes, looking after customers onboard, ensuring that our aircraft are in good technical condition and the Team in the background ensuring that we can deliver a safe, high quality and dependable operation on a daily basis, has worked incredibly hard to get us and FLY4 to this position today. It is their legacy and what unites us, is the drive to take things to the next level now.”

FLY4 operates a modern fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring Sky Interior and fuel-efficient Split Scimitar winglets. The airline’s operational capabilities are enhanced by its team of aviation professionals, some of whom bring more than 20 years of industry experience.

Moving into its second year of operations, FLY4 aims to build upon its successful launch and strengthen its position as a trusted partner for airlines seeking fleet capacity solutions.
